Delete Account & Data

You have the right to request deletion of your GroundPin account and the personal data associated with it. This page explains how to do that and what happens when you do.

Delete via the app

The fastest way is directly inside the GroundPin mobile app:

  1. Open the GroundPin app and sign in.
  2. Tap Profile in the bottom navigation bar.
  3. Scroll to Danger zone and tap Delete account.
  4. Confirm when prompted.

Your account is immediately frozen and scheduled for permanent deletion after a 30-day grace period. During that window you can sign back in and tap Cancel deletion to reverse the request. After 30 days the deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

Delete by email

If you no longer have access to the app, email us at hello@d4n.io with the subject line Account deletion request. Include the email address associated with your account. We will process your request within 30 days.

What gets deleted

What is retained

Contributions you made to your organisation (sites, pins, and annotations) remain in place, anonymised — your name is removed and replaced with a generic reference. This preserves the integrity of records your team relies on.

Certain records may also be retained where required by law (e.g. financial transaction logs under UK accounting rules).
